California's Ponal Code will be reviewed and overhauled for the first time in 90 years...special attention to be given to capital punishment, sex crimes and insanity. The project will take 4 years and the guide is the model penal code assembled by the American Law Institute.

The New York Mattachine is starting a "Quarterly Abstract" on homosexuality that will abstract all articles appearing on the subject in journals in the fields of medicine, law, psychology, and psychiatry. It will be staffed by a group of authorities in this field, among whom is Donald Webster Cory, author of THE HOMOSEXUAL IN AMERICA. It is planned that the first issue will appear late in November. It will be aimed primarily at researchers, 11braries and scholars. Subscription rates have not yet been established.
